The Ventura Regional Sanitation District (VRSD) is a public agency providing state-of-the-art integrated regional waste treatment and disposal services. The District has a $22 million budget and employs approximately 70 employees working in three distinct departments: Central Administration, Solid Waste, and Water/Wastewater.
As a public agency, VRSD assures environmentally safe disposal of solid waste, the effective treatment of wastewater and the reliable delivery of potable water at reasonable costs. We offer the highest quality service at the lowest possible cost for customers, and we provide solutions by involving our staff, our customers and our community.
